The Bachelor tops the demos, but NRL and news hand Nine a Thursday win

It was a successful night in entertainment for Ten, with The Bachelor topping the category, and dominating across all key advertising demographics – 16-39s, 18-49s and 25-54s – but it wasn’t enough to beat Nine in the average audience shares.

The show, which pulled 764,000 metro viewers last Thursday, was up slightly this week as Ten had promised a dramatic night with three women departing the Bachelor Mansion.
