BBC Studios has appointed Sharon Wilson as its director of brands and licensing in Australia and New Zealand.

Wilson will oversee local brand strategy and licensing initiatives for the BBC’s commercial properties, including the world-famous Bluey brand. She will report to Suzy Raia, EVP of global consumer products, and will be based in Sydney.

This marks a return to the BBC for Wilson, who worked at the broadcaster from 2010 to 2020 across various head of marketing roles. Since leaving the BBC, she worked in senior roles at Australian Geographic and ADMA.
