Be.Interactive has been appointed to handle the voting for the 8th Annual ASTRA awards.

The announcement:

This year marks the 8th Annual ASTRA Awards which recognise the wealth of talent that drives the Australian subscription television industry and highlights the creativity, commitment and the investment of subscription television in production and broadcasting. Be.Interactive have been appointed for the 8th year in a row to work with ASTRA to manage the public vote for the awards. .

Be.interactive provide viewers with an SMS mechanic to vote for the public voted categories, managing the competition permits, aggregating the voting across SMS, the red button iTV application and online voting as well as providing real-time reporting on the voting.
