Benetton’s ‘unhate’ campaign – coming to Australia?
Benetton’s ‘unhate’ ad campaign, which this week caused political ructions for featuring statesmen and religious leaders kissing, is expected to arrive in Australia next year.
A Benetton spokesperson told Mumbrella that there were no plans to localise the campaign for Australian audiences by featuring prime minister Julia Gillard and oppostion leader Tony Abbott kissing.

Apparently the campaign has been pulled.
Got to admit, I love the concept but it would have created a s##t storm. Hipster post modernism advertising doesn’t always translate well outside of the West.
I love it! Should be more of it. Advertising as an art form……Sometimes advertising doesn’t need to be advertising.

Ho hum more ads trying to use celebrity in any shape or form. Quite frankly I don’t agree with the premise that love and hate are not, you know, like dissimilar!
