Big Bang Theory delivers easy win for Nine as Great Australian Bake Off finishes strongly

The Big Bang TheoryNine easily won a quiet Tuesday evening thanks to a combination of The Big Bang Theory and Ben Stiller movie Little Fockers while on Foxtel’s decision to revive The Great Australian Bake Off paid off.

The finale of Lifestyle’s The Great Australian Bake Off saw 136,000 national viewers tune in for the final episode, up on the series debut which pulled in 104,000.

On free-to-air, Nine grabbed an audience share of 22.3 per cent thanks to the double episode of The Big Bang Theory pulling in 722,000 metro viewers at 7.30pm, growing to 729,000 at 8pm.

Little Fockers grabbed 604,000 metro viewers in the 8.30pm timeslot and was the most-watched show amongst 16-39 year old viewers and 18-49 year olds. The 8pm episode of The Big Bang Theory was the most-watched show amongst 25-54 year olds.
