Biggest Loser lumbers to 1.4m for finale

The finale of Ten’s weight loss show The Biggest Loser rated with 1.365m when the winner was announced last night.

The final night, which aired for an hour and a half from 8pm, pulled in 1.348m for the show. It won the night overall, and in every key demographic, 25-54, 16-39 and 18-49.

However, ratings were down from last year, when 1.682m tuned in to watch the final night and 1.555m watched the announcement of the winner on a Monday night in May.

Loser beat Packed to the Rafters on Seven, which rated with 1.178m in the 8.30pm time slot, and two episodes of The Big Bang Theory and 2 Broke Girls on Nine.
