Binoculars steal car for joyride in new Hyundai campaign

Hyundai has launched a new campaign for its new Tucson model, featuring four coin-operated binoculars that jump off their stands at a scenic site and steal a car to explore the world.
Created by Innocean, the video spot shows the binoculars – to the soundtrack of Dio’s ‘Holy Diver’ – take over a family’s car and hit the road, along the way offering donations to a man dressed as a parrot, watching Chinese New Year celebrations and staring down a motorbike gang.

The idea of the SeeMore family is a good idea. It’s a shame that they had to steal a car. They are not the lovable Seemore family they are car thieves.
The binoculars are cute and the advert is amazing! I think it’s great fun, especially when they are belting along a country road and a hedgehog scares them LOL

It’s nothing to do with satan. It’s about waking up from a dull life – the ‘midnight sea’ he sings about in the song is the stifling dream/half-life that you will drift into if you have no goals. Dio encouraged his fans to ‘get away’ from that and ‘ride the tiger’ and live a more interesting life where they would contribute something of themselves to the world and fulfil their potential. Inspiring stuff!
