BMF MD Martin Rippon leaves, agency splits into three
After 11 years of service, the MD of one of Australia’s leading ad agencies is leaving, Mumbrella can reveal.
Martin Rippon, a former Levi’s, Whitbread and Nestle marketer who joined BMF in 2000, is moving to the UK at the end of February next year.
BMF boss Jeremy Nicholas said: “I wish Martin well. He has made an enormous contribution to the business.”
Also departing BMF is head of planning Gareth Cooper, Mumbrella understands.
the centurion’s comment is a piss-take on himself, right?
Wow, must have been tipped off about LAFHA changes……
Hope they have had the repairman in to oil the revolving door… it might be getting some use in the next couple of months
Such big news. Martin is fabulous and will no doubt be missed.
What a change ahead for BMF. Good luck team!
Martin is one of the most decent and professional people I’ve dealt with. He is a huge part of BMF’s success to date and deserves to take some time out to enjoy the fruits of his labour.
really interesting move by BMF – good on Jeremy for restructuring and trying to improve an already winning formula.
