Boomtown appoints Andrew ‘Billy’ Baxter as new chairman

Boomtown has appointed Andrew ‘Billy’ Baxter as its new chairman, following the departure of founding chair Brain Gallagher in June.

Baxter is one of the country’s top marketing advisors, having served as CEO for Publicis and Ogilvy, steering iconic campaigns such as ‘Share a Coke’ and AMMI’s Rhonda commercials.

He currently holds several board roles, including as chair of Australian Pork, deputy chair at Foresters Financial, deputy chair at Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and non-executive director at OzHarvest.
