BoQ marketing restructure sees GM Melody Townsend exit

Bank of Queensland (BoQ) has restructured its marketing function, merging it with its digital unit and parting ways with general manager of group marketing, Melody Townsend.

Townsend, who joined via ME Bank over a decade ago, played a pivotal role in the start-up digital bank’s growth—from its early days through its 2021 acquisition by BoQ, and later overseeing marketing across the broader bank portfolio.

Mumbrella understands the combined marketing and digital teams will now be overseen by general manager of marketing and digital, Adrian McCaffrey.
