Brett Howlett returns to Australia for Ogilvy Sydney ECD role

After a 11-year stint in the US, most recently at Archibald Ingall Stretton New York, Brett Howlett is returning to Australia to fill the role of executive creative director at Ogilvy Sydney.

Howlett replaces Chris Ford who left the role of ECD last month to return to the US.

Howlett spent nine years in Sydney at the likes of Foster Nunn Loveder before leaving for the US. There, he worked at Bozell, Deutsch, M&C Saatchi and most recently with Stuart Archibald at Archibald Ingall Stretton, where he was creative partner.

“We were able to persuade Brett that after eleven years in New York, it was time for him to come home. We’ve found an international creative director that just happens to be a local boy,” said Tom Moult Ogilvy Australia’s executive chairman.
