Brisbane City Council announces $50,000 short film fund for local filmmakers

The Brisbane City Council has launched a $50,000 short film fund for local filmmakers, Lord Mayor Graham Quirk has announced.

The fund will include five $10,000 grants to assist in post-production and marketing of Brisbane short films. The fund will be managed by Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA).

“The APSA Brisbane Short Film Fund offers a tremendous opportunity for Brisbane filmmakers to complete their films with high-end post-production, or market their work to film festivals around the world,” Quirk said.
