Brisbane radio ratings: 4KQ, 97.3FM and Nova equal for top spot

Nova has been caught at the top of Brisbane’s radio ratings following two rounds of ratings in a row at the summit, as today’s report sees them share the spoils in an unusual three-way tie.

Nova dropped back 0.6 points to a 10.2% share in the latest GfK radio survey, while ARN’s 4KQ saw a boost, jumping 0.9 points to land even with Nova and 97.3FM, which is jointly owned by ARN and NOVA, which didn’t see any movement on last month’s numbers.

It was a great result for 4KQ’s Laurel, Gary & Mark’s breakfast show, rising 2 points to 11.1%, narrowly missing out to Nova’s Ash, Kip and Luttsy with Susie O’Neill who kept top spot, despite the gap again closing, as reported last month. The show dropped 0.5 points to settle on 11.3% share overall, holding a slender 0.2 point lead.
