Brisbane radio ratings: Triple M pips Nova to top spot

Triple M enjoyed the biggest ratings jump in Brisbane, according to the latest set of figures from Nielsen.

The Southern Cross Austereo radio station’s Monday to Friday audience grew to 12.1% – up a huge 2.7% in the breakfast slot, which is fronted by The Grill Team of Marto, Pete and Michelle.

The ratings jump helped Triple M to move past Nova 106.9 into the top spot with 12.5% Monday to Friday share. However, in the Monday to Sunday rankings, DMG’s Nova emerged as Brisbane’s top radio station, pipping Triple M by just 0.1% share.

It was a poor survey for ABC’s Triple J, which fell 1.3% to 5.9% share overall in the week-day ratings, down by 1.6% in the 9am-12pm slot.
