Brisbane agencies to hold Cannes contender night Brisbannes
Ahead of the Cannes Festival of Creativity Brisbane’s marketing community will host its annual ‘Brisbannes‘ Cannes Contender Night.
The event is supported by The Communications Council and jointly hosted by Brisbane’s member advertising agencies. Last year Brisbannes attracted over 200 of the city’s top marketers who enjoyed a reel of the year’s stand-out work from around the globe.
“The aim is to create a forum for Brisbane’s marketing and advertising community to discuss creativity and its link to effectiveness,” say Brisbannes co-founders Brendan Greaney (Creative Director, GPYR) and Jonathan Drapes (Creative Director, Junior). “To hear clients and their agencies walking out at the end of the night talking about world-class ideas can only be good for the industry.”
This year’s guests will also hear from Jeremy Rudge, Creative Excellence Lead at Coca-Cola South Pacific who will share some success secrets from last year’s ‘Share a Coke’ campaign.
The event will be held on Thursday June 13 at Barracks Cinema in Petrie Terrace.
How do you get on the invite list if you are not a creative agency but keen to attend?
Hi ‘Interested’
The event is put on by the The Communications Council’s Qld Member Agencies, to share and appreciate internationally benchmarked creatively effective work with their clients. As such, you need to be a Corporate TCC Member to be part of the Event, or a client of a TCC Corporate Member. Limited venue seats and capacity unfortunately restricts us from making the BRISBANNES more widely available. We will however monitor external demand and then potentially consider expanding the accessibility next year.
Many thanks, Hanns
