Bupa hands creative to Big Red
The Big Red Agency has been awarded the Bupa creative account following a pitch.
The agency, best known for its work with Coles and run by Ted Horton, beat out Publicis Mojo and Ogilvy for the account after incumbent Clemenger BBDO Melbourne declined to pitch.
Clemenger had held the account for more than 15 years, and was reappointed to it in June 2009 alongside fellow Omnicom agency OMD, which currently handle’s the brands media buying.
Nice one Ted.
Wow.
Sign of the times.
Congrats to Ted “I give zero fucks about Adland” Horton.
Don’t suppose this means premiums will go ‘down down’?
Hi Ben, nice joke, I like how you made it twice
A jump from one extreme of the communications spectrum to the other just doesn’t make sense!?
If an agency holds an account for 15+ years you’d probably think yourself lucky?
As both a Bupa member, and a member of the advertising community, I am waiting in horror to see what next as the race for new members begins.
I’d like to see Bupa focus more on delivering “why” I can Find a Healthier me.
