BWM hires Ogilvy’s Nicole Miranda to run Kmart account

BWM has poached Nicole Miranda from Badjar Ogilvy Melbourne to run its Kmart account as group account director.

The announcement:

Belgiovane Williams Mackay Melbourne has continued to grow its staff ranks with the appointment of Nicole Miranda as Group Account Director to head up the Kmart account.

Miranda comes to BWM with more than 20 years’ experience in the retail advertising industry having worked across multiple categories and markets. Most recently, she worked as integrated business director at BADJAR Ogilvy Melbourne where she was responsible for managing a satellite office of 35
people working across five Wesfarmers brands: Officeworks, Coles Liquor Group (Liquorland, 1st Choice Liquor Superstores and Vintage Cellars) and Harris Technology.

Melbourne Managing Director, Hugh Nairn said: “Nicole’s appointment comes on the back of a wave of growth within our Melbourne team. We are delighted to welcome someone of Nicole’s calibre to the BWM Melbourne family and look forward to the additional expertise she brings with her.”

While Miranda has a wealth of traditional retail knowledge, she has a great deal of experience in the areas of customer engagement strategies, 1:1 marketing and multi-channel retailing including disciplines such as B2B, B2C, direct, digital, ecommerce, mobile commerce and social media.

She has worked across some of the world’s most iconic brands, including Woolworths supermarkets, Woolworths Liquor, Franklins, the National Rugby League, Hardy Wines, Oz Design Furniture, Amber Tiles, Angus & Coote Jewellers, Australia Post, AAMI, IKEA (Singapore) as well as leading the agency
team responsible for the repositioning of BIG W during 2007/8.
