Cadreon’s Darren Stein joins OMG’s Annalect
Former Cadreon CEO Darren Stein is to become Australia and New Zealand boss of Omnicom Media Group’s data and technology business, Annalect.
Stein left Cadreon after three years, having being appointed the data agency’s CEO when IPG Mediabrands merged the business with activation agency Anomoly in 2016.
OMG Australia and New Zealand CEO, Peter Horgan, said Stein’s appointment is part of building on OMG’s strategy in the market: “Bringing Darren on board continues our investment into Annalect, and underscores our commitment to provide tech and data solutions, that are seamlessly linked to executional capabilities.
This is a game changing win for OMG and a devastating loss for Mediabrands. Darren is the strongest leader I have worked with. Take me with you!
Simply the best … The irony with Darren is that 99% of people will never know how amazing he is because he literally gives all the glory and praise to his team around him.
I’ve had the privilege of being mentored by Darren for a number of years. Not only a strong business leader but one of the best people-first leaders I have worked with. Doesn’t matter if you’re his 2IC or a junior he has always makes time for his team. Best of luck Darren!
Darren is awesome. He knows how to drive positive culture, reduce churn and lift engagement. He’s done it multiple times before and I know he will do it again. Sorry for your loss Cadreon.
I have had the privilege of seeing Darren in action. He is one of the few that can piece it all together. From data, analytics, insights, engagement, communication, strategy and driving real business outcomes, he knows his stuff. Great hire by OMG.
Darren is brilliant Executive. OMG and their clients are very very lucky.
