Call for entries: Melbourne’s Brooklyn 72 Hour Film Festival

The Brooklyn 72 Hour Film Festival, part of Melbourne’s The Boroughs NYC Culture Festival,  challenges filmmakers to create a film in 72 hours themed around New York City.

Beginning 6pm Friday 30 September and closing at 6pm Monday 3 October, filmmakers must include a surprise prop, to be supplied before the 72 hours at the Boroughs Film Directors meeting on the Friday.

Filmmakers must register by Monday 5 September to be eligible for competition. First prize is a DSLR camera package and an internship with Big Dog Productions to work on the behind the scenes footage for a Wolf Creek film production.

Films must be delivered to 20-28 Chatham St, Prahran, Melbourne as “The Boroughs Brooklyn Film Festival – Film Title”.

Shortlisted films and the winner will be screened at Globe Warehouse, 1 Fennel Street Port Melbourne on Saturday 8 October.
