Camilla Severi dropped from Brisbane’s Nova Breakfast

Radio presenter Camilla Severi has been dropped from Brisbane’s Nova 106.9 Breakfast show, DMG Radio Australia has announced.
Severi wasn’t back on air on Monday morning when her DMG co-hosts Ash Bradnam, David “Luttsy” Lutterall and Kip Wightman returned from the summer break.
Yesterday the station put out a statement: “Nova 106.9 and Camilla Severi have made the mutual decision to move her out of the breakfast show. We would sincerely like to thank Camilla for her hard work and dedication in the breakfast show and an announcement will be made in the coming weeks about her next role on the network. Nova is 100% committed to her continued development and she will remain part of Nova family.”
She’s certainly done well for herself considering she started on Big Brother. Good on you Camilla!
perhaps if Nova bought another CD instead of playing the same 5 songs all day they might have better ratings. drive to work or drive home, same songs.

Nova went from having an entertaining morning line up with a formidable female to a poor imitation of their B105 counterparts. No wonder listeners are leaving in droves. When the station started, they had a point of difference which appealed to their target audience. Now that the “Never more than 2 ads in a row” policy has changed, what does Nova offer that the other stations aren’t already providing???
It would appear that Nova is happy to take notice of listeners when they are complaining about on air talent.
Now if only Nova would take notice of listeners when they complain about the bland choice of music and the annoying ads.
I think it is sad she has gone.. I changed radio stations from B105 to Nova to listen to her… I watched her in the BB house…
I have only listened to Nova since she moved there but I have noticed that one of the guys (not sure which one it is as I haven’t listen to it long enough) was quite rude to her and it was obvious on air… he would speak over the top of her or cut her off totally…
I’m not sure who to listen to now… I love the afternoon show… it is hilarious… but driving to work in the morning is quite boring.
She is talented and beautiful, smart and warm… she will go a long way no matter what…
