Cancer Council Victoria and Cancer Institute NSW urges young men to quit smoking

Cancer Council Victoria and Cancer Institute NSW have joined forces to urge young male smokers to quit making excuses and give up smoking for good.

The new campaign sees a young man head off to footy training with his friends while a voiceover says ‘I’ll quit smoking before footy training starts.’

As the man makes more promises to himself, such as quitting before his child is born, before he wakes up coughing, and before he has “serious problems,” the footage suggests he has not quit.
