Canesten’s Thrush: The Musical 2 launches starring Sketchshe
Bayer brand Canesten and PHD have launched Thrush: The Musical 2, starring YouTube comedy group Sketchshe, following the success of the first Thrush: The Musical campaign.
Like the first iteration of the campaign, the new film aims to reduce the stigma around a condition that 75% of women experience at least once in their lives through humour, with Thrush: The Musical 2 featuring lines such as “Gotta look out for your coochie coo, vaginal health should never be taboo”.
In most cases, treatment for thrush is readily available, but talking to a pharmacist or doctor can be difficult for women. Canesten said it’s important the brand connects with women by building their confidence through the entertaining, lighthearted message.
The SketchShe women are fab and funny – well done.
Sketchshe didn’t “star in” the last musical they wrote & created it!
I originally thought this would be horrible but I’ve got to hand it to who ever wrote it. It’s pretty damn catchy & funny.
I worked on this job and the last. This was all Shae Lee. Not sure where you guys are getting your info. Epic job with such a small crew.
Wow this is better than the last musical! I’ll be humming this all day. So who’s the genius behind this masterpiece? Credit where it’s due… right?
