Sky News presenter Caroline Marcus apologises to Nine for Ben McCormack claims
Sky News’ political reporter and anchor, Caroline Marcus, has issued an on air apology for suggesting the Nine network knew about A Current Affair reporter Ben McCormack’s attraction to young boys but failed to act upon it.
In a correction aired on the Credlin program, Marcus aimed her apology at Nine’s director of news and current affairs Darren Wick.
Marcus – a former ACA journalist herself – had previously claimed that Nine management was aware of her ex colleague’s predilictions but failed to address them. McCormack was convicted of child pornography offences earlier this month.
