Caroline Overington rejoins The Australian as an associate editor

Associate editor of The Australian Women’s Weekly Caroline Overington is joining The Australian as an associate editor, working across the newspaper.

caroline overington picThe appointment sees Overington return to the News Corp owned broadsheet where she was a senior reporter between 2006 and 2013. During that time she exposed the Australian Wheat Board scandal. Overington has also previously worked for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.

During her tenure with Bauer Media’s AWW, Overington interviewed Oprah Winfrey and Hillary Clinton.

Overington said: “”I am thrilled to be returning both to Australia, and to The Australian. I wanted to make a good move in coming home from California, and this feels 100% right.”
