Casting for Tourism Australia’s No Leave No Life campaign goes public
The third series of the Tourism Australia-funded No Leave No Life campaign, to encourage Australians to use up their holiday, has issued a public call for participants.
People can nominate themselves or someone they think deserves a break through www.noleavenolife.com. That person will feature on the No Leave No Life reality TV show, to air on Seven.
The call comes a week after tourism minister Martin Ferguson branded the amount of leave owed to Australians “a disgrace”, and said many young Australians were stockpiling leave to take holidays overseas.
Australians are owed 123 million days of accumulated annual leave worth $33 billion in wages, according to the minister.
Don’t disagree with the take leave message, but like many Australian’s I’d take my leave off shore where I’ll pay 3x less for accommodation and food, and actually get good service.
