Celebrity Masterchef audience increases and John Safran returns to the ABC
Ten’s Celebrity Masterchef audience was up on last week and edging closer to its series high of 1.4 million while across at the ABC, John Safran’s new comedy-documentary series premiered and was followed by only a few complaints.
According to initial OzTam data almost 1.3 million viewers tuned in to watch fashion designer Alex Perry, comedienne Wendy Harmer and cricketer Simon Katich battle it out in the Masterchef kitchen in the fourth episode of the series.
Last night’s audience was the biggest since the show’s debut three weeks ago and is up on last week which pulled just under 1.1 million.
Over at the ABC, John Safran’s Race Relations drew in a crowd of 706,000 and took a 34 per cent share of the male and female 25-39 demographic.
Moral panic season is over already?
It is great to see that the ABC television is hardly on the radar what the ratings is concerned. Desperated, distasteful and a pretentious is the opinion of the big majority.
Get a job where you do not need to rely on hand outs from the government.
You get money, you do not earn it, despite the hype you might believe in.
Have a nice day.
wheres criminal minds?
Hi John,
Criminal Minds’ audience was 735,000 so didn’t make the Top 15.
Cheers,

The new John Safran offering offended me greatly for the sheer depth of indulgence this once witty mind has sunk. Who gives a toss about John and his perpetual pubescent obsession with his past conquests. Seriously this was unadulterated bollocks.
I thought Safran was hillarious. Particularly the bit where he donated his (Jewish) sperm to a Palestinian sperm bank… Right up my alley, but then again, I have my head firmly outside of my arse unlike some posters on here.
John Safran is totally cool. Some mates and I met him face to face in St Kilda
We got free “Race Relations” autographed t-shirts and our picture taken with him.
Thanks John!
