Channel 7 axes Adam Cooney in AFL shakeup

Former Western Bulldogs star Adam Cooney has revealed on-air that Channel 7 has axed the popular AFL talk show Armchair Experts, the latest in the network’s talent shake-up.

Cooney, the host of the star alongside commentator Cam Luke, revealed the news on Tuesday morning on his SEN Breakfast radio show, calling it a “sad day.”

“Who would’ve thought that show wouldn’t run forever?” he joked.
