Chantal Walker departs Telstra marketing team as Microsoft’s Inese Kingsmill joins
The sweeping changes at the top of Telstra’s marketing team have continued with the exit of Chantal Walker, the company’s director of brands advertising and digital, Mumbrella can reveal.
It follows last month’s departure of executive director of brand and marketing communications Amanda Johnston-Pell.
The pair’s possible departures have been a matter of speculation since experienced advertising creative Mark Collis was brought in as director of creativity and innovation.
Meanwhile, Microsoft’s head of strategy Inese Kingsmill has been brought in as Director of Business Unit Marketing & Communications.

Good luck Chantal. Though I hope your departure doesn’t mean Brad and Emma are leaving too!
Hardly a surprise.
I hope Chantal uses this as a teachable moment and becomes a better person as a result
I wonder how Ines and Mark Collis will work together?
Not having to work with people like davina, would surely make you a better person.
I’ve edited by Mumbrella tho I guess she’d be glad the 7:30am meetings don’t happen anymore
Come now anonymous – that was a nice genuine comment with concern for Chantal – edited by Mumbrella
I wish her well and genuinely hope she uses this unfortunate circumstance to learn and grow.
Hmm … The words edited by Mumbrella and edited by Mumbrella are suddenly springing to mind
What a pity the words consideration, courtesy, never came to mind..
As sometimes seems to be the case on this topic, I’m closing this comment thread for legal reasons.
