Chris Lilley’s Angry Boys unveiled by the ABC
The ABC has revealed a first look at Chris Lilley’s new series Angry Boys.
Lilley’s previous mockumentaries for the ABC – We Can Be Heroes and Summer Heights High – were ratings draws for the national broadcaster, particularly in younger demographics.
The potentially controversial characters include Lilley playing a pushy Japanese mother.
Looks brilliant, can’t wait.
Chris has a very high strike rate of success – looking forward to it.

dear ABC – please! less of that juvenile, boring and borderline offensive Lilley, and give us more, much more of the wry, dry and un-shy Hardy.

Mmmm. I’m a Lilly fan, but I do hope all the inner-city-greenie-pc brigade remember to bite their lips next time they feel compelled to criticise AM shock jocks for racial stereo-typing – because Lilly is the comedy-master of it.

His previous series have been brilliant, and I’ve no doubt this will be as well. I’m almost happy enough that my involuntary $0.11 a day (a joke from another post, before anyone gets started) goes to the ABC, just so they can pay for this.
I dont care if it is the same joke essentially, it’s a bloody funny joke, keep it coming.
Woo Hoo some decent TV. Although I am partial to a bit of Jersey Shore, The Only Way is Essex and of course Spongebob Squarepants (starring me) I’m looking forward to Chris Lilley’s new one.
