Chrysler reprimanded for showing people in canoe without life jacket in TV campaign
Chrysler has had one of its television ads banned for showing people kayaking without a life jacket.
A complaint to Ad Standard referenced the recent incident in which Prime Minister Malcom Turnbull was fined $250 for not wearing a life jacket on a boat and argued the ad sends the wrong message”.
Will Ad Standard reprimand political parties for showing ads with politicians telling porkies? For sending the wrong message (it’s okay to lie to the public)?
Please, get a life Mr PM. Honestly, what’s next? Will television be srutinized for showing old movies without hand rails on porches, bicycles without training wheels where does this insanity end? People should decide what they do or do not do in their lives not government. Our world needs more decisions by the people and less by over paid politicians trying to justify the money they make to cover their law degrees.
