Clemenger BBDO and SapientNitro take CUB digital account
Clemenger BBDO and SapientNitro have been appointed to the digital Carlton United Brewers account after a competitive pitch.
Clemenger BBDO already has the creative account for CUB’s portfolio of beer and cider brands. The new appointment will see the agency share digital work with SapientNitro’s across a range of brands in the beer and cider brands.
Paul McMillan, managing partner at Clems, said: “We love working on their business and it’s hugely rewarding to have our digital capabilities recognised as being at the same high standard as our creative abilities.”
SapientNitro national managing director Paul Bennett said: “We are thrilled with this news – there are exciting digital marketing opportunities across this incredible range of brands.”
Earlier this week it was revealed CUB has called a pitch for its media agency business.
Did Clemenger actually win more from CUB or lose some of the business to Sapient?
youd think clems would have sorted out their digital dept by now, but to lose it to sapient!?!?
Who’s actually going to do the work at Sapient – there’s only 4 people.
Yep that’s got to be classified as a loss for Clems and a sign their digital capability is still in its infancy.
