Climate Council Australia launches AI-powered chatbot to help educate on climate change
Climate Council Australia and digital agency AKQA today announced a collaboration to launch the Climate Council’s first ever chatbot designed to help better engage its followers with questions about climate change.
The chatbot was designed to help engage the 25-35 year olds who already follow the Climate Council on its social channels but have low engagement.
Housed on the Climate Council’s Facebook page, the bot will help the audience access research and statistics across a range of climate-related topics, including extreme weather, heatwaves, bushfires and renewable energy and storage technology solutions.
Oh no! Now there’s a robot-priest from the Church of Climate Change to re-educate us all from the error of our ways. Stand by for the construction of rural gulags, to which non-compliers will be sent, and made to drink the Kool Aid (which btw, is green)
Hey Mike, if you want to offer comment on a public issue, you would do better if you gained some knowledge on the topic you are addressing. As a start, you might like to look in Wikipedia for the initial science development on Climate Change. Look up articles on Herschel, Fourier, Tyndall, Arrhenius- Nobel Laureate who calculated that doubling CO2 in the atmosphere would result in average temp increase of 4C to 7C, in 1896. Yes, basic science settled in 1800s. Yes, Climate Change knowledge based on science, well before greenies and others formed. However, if you wish to remain ignorant, that is your option
Go easy on him, as you well know people are mostly the product of their environment…
