Communications professionals invited to lend their voice to Acts of Kindness project
Kaldor Public Art, the team behind the Your Name In Lights event, is calling on marketing and communications professionals to lend their voice to a new project called Acts of Kindness.
The announcement:
August 15, 2011 –
From the group that brought Sydney the ‘Your Name in Lights’ project, the Kaldor Public Art team has this year secured celebrated UK artist Michael Landy for their 24th public project.
Landy’s project Acts of Kindness focuses on the simple everyday gestures of kindness that take place in a busy, bustling city and often go unnoticed, from someone offering a bus seat or helping a stranger to just sharing a kind word or a smile.
Landy is now looking for well told stories to feature in the coming project, calling on marketing communications professionals to lend their voice to this creative project.
Kaldor Public Art Projects has an established history of groundbreaking projects with international artists in public spaces, changing the landscape of contemporary art in Australia.
If you have an act of kindness story to tell and would like to contribute to the project, you can register online – http://kaldorartprojects.org.au/actsofkindness The project will feature in Art & About 2011.
