Conviction Kitchen is latest show to fire up for Seven

Seven’s dream start to the ratings year has continued with Conviction Kitchen rising to above 1m viewers on its fourth outing.

After debuting with 825,000 viewers in the Tuesday 9.30pm timeslot, followed by 757,000 a week later, Conviction Kitchen was moved into Monday at 8.30pm last week where it delivered 942,000.

Last night, the show – featuring convicted criminals seeking redemption through cooking – was up again to 1.033m, seventh for the night, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.  

The improvement for the show was despite inheriting a slightly smaller audience from My Kitchen Rules which was down from 1.406m last Monday night to 1.373m yesterday.

Meanwhile, Nine saw a slight improvement for Two And A Half Men. The network aired one of its remaining unbroadcast episodes shot before Charlie Sheen was fired. it rated 986,000, up on last week’s 903,000.

Shit My Dad Says also improved slightly, up from 644,000 to 790,000.

Ten’s best performer was Glee with 1.031m – up on last week’s 1.024m. The network’s early evening news lineup showed signs of improvement with 6PM With George Negus delivering 449,000 and Ten Evening News 412,000.
