Cricket Australia appoints new head of marketing to drive match attendance

Cricket Australia Logo 2003Cricket Australia has named Sonia Bijelic as its new head of marketing with responsibility for promoting all forms of the game.

Bijelic, who replaces senior marketing manager Julian Dunne who left in May, will be tasked with increasing attendances, supporting Cricket Australia’s participation programs and overseeing the organisation’s data and customer strategy.

Bijelic, who joins from Treasury Wine Estates where she was responsible for increasing wine sales through its direct-to-consumer channels, will report into Ben Amarfio, executive general manager media, communications and marketing.
