Cassidy Knowlton appointed Crikey editor
Knowlton: I have always adored Crikey’s irreverence
Crikey managing editor Cassidy Knowlton has been named editor of the Private Media-owned title, replacing departing editor Marni Cordell.
Knowlton has been with Private Media for more than five years, taking up the role of production editor with property news website Property Observer when it launched in 2011.
She joined Crikey in February 2013, becoming managing editor two years ago.
Crikey invited me via Facebook to “have a taste of Crikey” to entice me to pay for a subscription. They sent me the emails with headings but none of the links to the stories worked. Needless to say I didn’t sign up…

Crikey is still going? I stop reading it when Jonathan Green took over and ruined it. Now if only they could bring back Stephen Mayne 🙂
