The Crocodile Dundee movie that never was

Dr Mumbo has so many great ideas, it’s frequently hard for him to remember them. And, it seems, Wil Anderson and Charlie Clausen are the same.

This week – as the industry collectively decided a trailer for a new Crocodile Dundee movie was in fact definitely a tourism push for Australia during the Super Bowl – the duo revealed in their TOFOP podcast that they, along with friend Justin Hamilton, thought of re-inventing the film a few years back. Complete with Chris Hemsworth and everything.

On the podcast, they reflected that not only did they riff about the idea on their podcast back in 2014, but artist James Fosdike even mocked up a movie poster at the time.
