C|T Group’s chairman Robert Champion de Crespigny retires

Australian lobbying firm, and political consultancy C|T Group has revealed longstanding chairman and prominent businessman Robert Champion de Crespigny AC will be retiring from the board, as the firm marks its 20-year anniversary.

Sir Lynton Crosby AO has been appointed to succeed Mr Champion de Crespigny AC and will become executive chairman and chief executive officer 20 years after co-founding the company. Co-founder Mark Textor will continue as a non-executive director, and the board will appoint two new directors over the coming months.

Crosby said: “We can never adequately thank Robert for his support, guidance and commitment. We have been incredibly lucky to have such an accomplished business figure and friend as a source of advice and counsel over the last twenty years.”

C|T Group was founded in Canberra in 2002 as Crosby|Textor by Crosby and Textor, with Champion de Crespigny AC as chairman. From a company of six, the global research, campaigns, intelligence and advisory group now employs over 140 professionals worldwide, and has run over 300 campaigns in more than 50 countries.
