‘Your honour, I am not lying’ insists actress, as lawyer dismisses ‘ludicrous’ allegation
The actress at the centre of the Geoffrey Rush allegations has been told it is “ludicrous” to suggest such a “dedicated” actor as Geoffrey Rush would have “done anything” to risk ruining the most pivotal scene of a play.
During an intense day in Sydney’s Federal Court – which saw Eryn Jean Norvill spend a second day in the witness stand – Rush’s barrister Bruce McClintock SC repeatedly accused her of lying.

She had earlier spoken of “a culture of bullying and sexual harassment” in the industry which “enabled” the behaviour of Geoffrey Rush to go unchecked.
This whole thing is very sad. She reminds me of Dr. Ford. She believes what she says completely, but can’t realize it just isn’t true. The media is totally at fault. Ruining two lives for a story.

I have great concern for both of these people irrespective of fame . Why do these people only seem to accuse the most gifted and brightest and most successful,is it the notoriety and attention they wish for their career.why don’t we hear about this type of issue with the less famous mmm.
Just putting this out there, Narelle… maybe cases involving famous people are deemed more newsworthy than the cases that don’t involve Oscar winners? No, that’s silly. What was I thinking?
