Daily Telegraph to donate share of copy sales
Tomorrow’s edition of The Daily Telegraph will donate 10c per copy sold to a policy charity to remember shot policeman William Crews.
The announcement:
The Daily Telegraph is to honour fallen hero Police Constable William Crews, by donating 10c from the cover price of every paper sold on Thursday 16th September 2010 to his appeal fund.
Coinciding with Constable Crew’s funeral, the donation aims to pay tribute to the NSW policeman gunned down in a police fire fight with an alleged drug dealer last week. In addition, this mark of respect intends to recognise all dedicated police officers that give their lives in service to the NSW community.
