David Fox named as successor to Andrew Baxter as Ogilvy CEO

David Fox is returning to Australia to take on the role of CEO for the Ogilvy, replacing Andrew Baxter who made the surprise move to become CEO of Publicis Australia last week.

Fox is returning to Australia from London, where he moved in 2005 to work on global clients for OgilvyAction which merged with G2 last year, and is currently head of global clients at Geometry, where he sits on the worldwide board.

STW CEO Mike Connaghan said in a statement: “As Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide Chairman and CEO Miles Young said to me, Foxy was ‘made for this job’, and I’m thrilled we could convince him to come home.
