DDB Asia Pacific chairman John Zeigler retires
DDB Asia Pacific chairman John Zeiglar has announced his retirement at the end of this month, bringing to an end his nearly 12 years at the helm of DDB Asia Pacific, however he will remain at the network as chairman emeritus Asia Pacific.
Zeigler has been with DDB since the network acquired his agency Kuscyinski and Zeigler in 1986. During his time with DDB he has led and managed agencies in Melbourne, Dallas and Singapore before taking on his chairman role in 2004.
Commenting on his departure Zeigler said in a statement: “This decision has not come easily. Mostly because of the people I have worked with and those who have done so much to make the region what it is today. I often tell my kids two things – change the world and then when you do, get out while it’s still good. And so I am heeding my own advice.
A great bloke who has made a fantastic contribution.
I’ll be amazed if he can stay away.
Go well John

A brilliant operator, with a true understanding of the power of creativity as a servant to business – one of the very best.
Good luck & thanks JZ! Big shoes to fill for the industry at large. Like Inese says, a class act…but as per Marty’s comment, no doubt some crazy ideas too!
