DDB Asia Pacific chairman John Zeiglar has announced his retirement at the end of this month, bringing to an end his nearly 12 years at the helm of DDB Asia Pacific, however he will remain at the network as chairman emeritus Asia Pacific.

Zeigler has been with DDB since the network acquired his agency Kuscyinski and Zeigler in 1986. During his time with DDB he has led and managed agencies in Melbourne, Dallas and Singapore before taking on his chairman role in 2004.

Commenting on his departure Zeigler said in a statement: “This decision has not come easily. And so I am heeding my own advice.
