Did we just get first scoop that BoJo’s running in the next election?

One minute Julie Bishop is hinting on the Mumbrella360 stage that we haven’t seen the end of Boris Johnson. The next, the UK announces a surprise election. Coincidence? Dr Mumbo thinks not. 

“I think Boris will be back,” Bishop said during the event. Then just like that *Dr Mumbo clicks fingers*, in enters Rishi Sunak with the bombshell announcement.  

So, is Bishop onto something? Could Johnson be planning a dramatic comeback to politics? 

It’s no secret that Bishop is a fan of BoJo. When he resigned, she told reporters she was going to miss him after developing a “very close personal rapport”. Heck, the pair even enjoyed a morning jog around London together on one of her trips across the pond.
