Dogtober charity plays the cute puppy card
Assistance Dogs Australia, the charity behind the ‘Dogtober’ campaign to raise funds to train dogs to work with the disabled, is using the cute factor of golden retriever puppies in a series of TV ads narrated by John Cleese.

The agency behind the campaign was Leo Burnett Sydney.
Kids+dogs you can’t go wrong with that
I love these. Yes I love puppies….but the approach is fresh and clever. Nice one. Hopefully they’ll get plenty of CSA airtime and Youtube views.
What makes these ads really work so strongly, is contrasting cranky old John Cleese with the adorable puppies.
IMHO – very good advertising.
Effective campaign – made me donate
v good
I first watched this without the commentary and as predicted was “oohing” and “aahing”. The second time, listening to John Cleese, had me in stitches. Great campaign.
