$30,000 Doritos winner is Australia-loving Dennis
This ad, created by 21-year-old Alex George, was tonight named the $30,000 winner of this year’s Dorito’s make An Ad, Make A Fortune competition.
It was revealed during the ad break on Ten’s Good News Week.
The ad – featuring Australia-obsessed Dennis – was voted the best of three finalists which were shortlisted last month.
It’s the second year that Dorito’s has run the competition.
Nice work, good on them.
A little clichéd. But I like it.
Good way to get a cheap ad produced. 30K, what a bargain!
I think it’s a really cute idea, well done 21 year old!
i like it! fun ad 😀
Love taking the mickey out of the “it’s unaustralian” crowd!
Great ad! Well done lads.
Nice work!
I really like it, but it seems pretty professional.. did they reshoot it or something? Or is he an industry insider?
Simple, clever, funny. Nice job, boys.
Nice work. Should be able to get a gig on Neighbours with that quality of acting. No. I mean it. Honestly….
It wasn’t a reshoot, that was the quality of the initial entry, he has done a few other short films for different festivals and I suppose the experience in the work just shines through.
I saw this floating around my facebook a while back asking for people to vote for it, I was pretty happy when I saw it flicker on the tv in the background, hats off to him winning it, it was definately a standout from what I can remember of the others.
Love this. Nice one.
Great ad. Cracks me up every time I see it!
