Seven’s Downton Abbey audience continues to lift, as Nine’s AGT viewership slips again
UK drama Downton Abbey boosted its audience week-on-week last night, recording an audience of 849,000, up marginally on the 842,000 it achieved last week.
The drama had a strong lead-in on Seven, coming on at 9:00pm after My Kitchen Rules, which had 1.57m metropolitan viewers – down 117,000 viewers on last week but still well ahead of anything else on TV last night.
Over on Nine, Australia’s Got Talent has lost audience for the third straight week, falling from 851,000 two weeks ago, to 736,000 and now 683,000 last night.
The result saw AGT come fourth in its timeslot with Ten’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! relatively stable with an audience of 685,000 viewers while 7.30 had 744,000.
YOu said it- Downton riding on the back of MKR. in the same vein NIne should have brought back the block and AGT ride on the back of that. Not a fan of the Block by the way. What about sunrise and today? yesterday?
