ECD Luke Chess departs Lavender

Lavender’s ECD Luke Chess has departed the agency after just a year.

In an announcement from Lavender, the agency said that Chess had “decided to move on”.

Agency founder Will Lavender said: “Luke has brought a renewed passion to our creative offering, and has been an integral part of our team this year. He leaves us poised to capitalise on our recent successes: Westpac ATL, Wendy’s and IKEA Family.”

Chess joined the agency this time last year after a similar stint at Saatchi & Saatchi NZ. Prior to that he was creative director at BWM.

Chess said: “It’s been a full on year for Lavender, and indeed for me too. While this is the right decision for me both personally and professionally, I’m pleased to be leaving the agency in a such strong and sound position.”
