Elementary for Ten as Sherlock Holmes delivers
Sherlock Holmes and his side-kick Watson – now played by Lucy Liu – attracted an impressive 1.230 million viewers last night, making it the number two program across the five capital cities according to preliminary overnight OzTAM TV ratings.
The US-created rebooted detective team story Elementary, starring Jonny Lee Miller, beat all comers in the 8.30pm timeslot.
But Nine won the main channel national share with 24.6% of the audience, with Seven on 20.5% and Ten 18.3%.
This is a great series, but why oh why with the delay Ten?
I have a US iTunes account and already have the first 13 episodes. I’ll bet there’ll be more than a few people watching it last night, liking it and then realising they can get a lot more online.
Sheesh – after seeing all those previews from Channel 10, Mumbrella finally makes me realise this series is about Sherlock Holmes!! Might have a look at it some time..
It’ll die against Downton Abbey.
Thanks for the heads up, will check it out on TPB.
I love this show a lot and i hope it has many more episodes because this is simply a brilliant written show.
Keep this show going please!
