Seems she’s making the most of all those job vacancies.

Seven months at one place, three months at the next…. just what I’d be looking for on the CV of my next hire….

My advice would be sober up from the champagne, take a cold shower and then look at the decision you’ve just made.

She seems incapable of holding down a job for an extended period of time – what makes you think she’s going to stick it with you?

And recruiters have the hide to suggest that moving jobs every 2 years is too often ….. (yes, I’ve been told this – after being at one agency for 4 years, 3 contracts and then 2 years at the next place). Recruiters, seriously – why do agency’s bother? Just recruit directly.

Will the recruitment firm FBI used to conduct the “worldwide search” to unearth this candidate in its own backyard have to refund the 20% recruitment fee as she’s left after only 3 months? Just a thought….
Second thought Tim, is this area of the industry worth an expose as ruthless as the media freebie market?

Not blown away by any of this frankly. Exceptional people can make it work wherever they go. All sounds a bit precious for mine.

Wow this lady has had more jobs than hot dinners – She cant stay in a job for longer than a few months maybe recruiting is not for her as she has worked at every agency in town!

Embarrassing. As someone who works in the same industry and sector, seeing such cliched old tripe being bandied about under the guise of an “alternative” is truly a shame.

Recruiters – do your job, work hard, be honest, be ethical and don’t pretend to be something your not. Jeezus – it’s not bloody rocket science

and another one bites the dust! good show mumbrella and bad move digital transfer. you have just proven to us all you choose on personal connection, not skill, talent, credability and market reputation. did you call her previous employers? investigate the detail of her CV? did you speak to people that have worked with her? I think not. lost my interest and my business.

This concerns people moves in media specific recruitment. This will definitely be of interest to many Mumbrella readers.

If the article covered a recruiter to the finance industry, then yes, why feature info about it on Mumbrella. However this is relevant(.)

Give her a break- Good companies are hard to find, I can imagine, especially in the area of recruitment. Good luck Elissa!

For few good recruiters, there are a huge handful of not so good recruiters and a smaller handful of down right rubbish recruiters.
This applies to all industries, all sectors, all level of staff.

Regardless of your role and industry, you know good people, not so good people and down right rubbish people. Right?

Good for her if she is trying to improve the digital recruitment process, bring new, overseas talent to the market and show the rest of us how to “get it”.

“It” presumably being providing exemplary customer service to candidate and client, working towards the best interest of both parties, choosing talent that add value to the client and clients that can help develop the candidates career??
I assume so, that’s what we are supposed to be paid for.

If “it” becomes a new trend, this is really good for us all.
If every digital recruiter got “it” … well you can you can only imagine…..

If however this is a press release from Krajcer to cover the fact she has bunny hopped two jobs – I am disappointed to see she had the hide to flip it back on her own industry and declare she has a better method… hop hop!

Everyone should be given a chance so all the best to her. I for one look forward to industry wide changes in digital recruitment, customer service and a talent retention vs immediate win models in recruitment agencies. I hope Elissa is the one to direct the industry in the right direction.

It’s pretty easy to blame the recruiter when you don’t get a job isn’t it.

I burst out laughing when I read this article I have to admit. But the comments now are borderline abusive. Let’s cut her a break. And Bart. They would have learned a lot from this episode about the art of writing a press release and what a PR shot should not contain.

Let’s move on now.
