Emerging producers the focus of new Metro Screen and Screen NSW program

A new program to find the next generation of producers has been created by Metro Screen and Screen NSW.

The release:

Metro Screen has proudly partnered with Screen NSW to launch the new and refreshed Emerging Producer Placement (EPP) program for 2015. EPP 2015 has been designed to identify and support a new generation of emerging producers in NSW and advance their careers in screen.

Maureen Barron, Chief Executive at Screen NSW, stated;
“Screen NSW was delighted to fund the research by Metro Screen into the most effective way to support emerging producers.  This unique program, developed from this research, provides emerging producers with an understanding of the realities of both in-office production activity and project funding processes, and will prepare our future producers with hands-on experience of the key skills required for producing series and long-form content.”
